Last but most definitely not least, we unveil the eight choices that have made the field for the year-end Jerry Sandusky Award tournament. As for the NFL picks, the guys are in agreement that wins will be gained by the Colts, Browns, Panthers, Bears, Patriots, Bills, 49ers, Bengals, Broncos, and Seahawks. Leo's Lion Den selections are the Bengals/Chargers Over 48, the Broncos/Chiefs Under 49, and the Browns -7. Tony likes the Rams +9, the Bengals +1.5, and the Giants -1.5.

Among them: whether NASCAR drivers are athletes or not, the controversial end of last week's Patriots-Panthers game, the resurgence of USC led by Ed Orgeron (and if he should remain the head coach permanently), the A-Rod suspension grievance, and the blockbuster Prince Fielder/Ian Kinsler trade.

There are also three staples of the show that you'll hear: the NFL segment, the Lion's Den, and the Sandusky Award. Be prepared, though: the nominees aren't pretty!

Unprotected Sports is off this week, but the weekly NFL picks are here!

Due to some technical and logistical difficulties, we will not have an Unprotected Sports episode this week.  We'll be back next week.

As for our NFL picks competition, which Leo now leads by 7, the guys have 4 differences of opinion this week.

In the Jets/Bills game, Tony likes the Jets, while Leo prefers the Bills.

In the Buccaneers/Falcons game, Leo picks the Falcons, and Tony goes with the Bucs.

In the Cardinals/Jaguars game, Tony likes the Cards, while Leo thinks the Jags win their second in a row.

Finally, in the Chargers/Dolphins game, Leo is going with the Dolphins, while Tony likes the Chargers.

Oh, and Tony's Lion's Den selections:  Bengals/Browns Under 42.5, Texans -7 against the Raiders, and Packers +6 at the Giants.

After that comes the NFL segment, complete with picks and analysis. Tony makes a foray into the Lion's Den, and he also has a Pussification topic relating to football.
